GoCarSale is an ads-only listings marketplace. We do not handle payments. Use common-sense precautions when buying or selling a vehicle.
Before you meet
- Prefer meeting in a public place (or a police-designated safe exchange location, where available).
- Bring a friend.
- Verify the VIN, title status, and seller identity.
- Be cautious of deals that feel “too good to be true”.
Payment safety
- Avoid wire transfers, gift cards, crypto payments, or shipping agents.
- Use safe payment methods appropriate for your jurisdiction (e.g., cashier’s check at a bank, escrow services you independently verify).
- Do not pay deposits to “hold” a car unless you are confident in the seller’s identity.
Reporting
If a listing looks suspicious, use the Report listing link on the listing page. We review reports and may remove listings that violate policy.
